Compton’s was started in Astoria, Queens by childhood friends Alex and Jimmy, inspired by the New York neighborhoods, delis, and sandwich shops they grew up with.

The idea was to take something familiar and make it distinctly our own; classic New York sandwiches made with better ingredients, generous portions, and made to look as good as they taste.

What started as one neighborhood shop is now growing across the city. Each location takes on a character of its own, while staying connected to where it all began.
